Barbara A. Barletta (August 6, 1952, Carmel, California - February 1, 2015, Gainesville, Florida) was a prominent American Classical archaeologist and architectural historian. Barletta was trained at the University of California Santa Barbara and at Bryn Mawr College where she earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology. From the American Academy in Rome Barletta received the Andrew W.
